I love to put on a show.
As the child of an actors born and raised in Los Angeles it’s, quite literally, in my genes. For the past 18 years I’ve brought events, performances, and creative experiences to life for audiences from California to New York to Qatar and beyond.
Before starting my freelance business I was the Senior Producer, Events & Special Programs at SFFILM (presenter of the SF International Film Festival), where I oversaw planning and production for all special events, live programs, and A-list talent relations. Prior to that I worked on the festival circuit for many years including: running will call and security on Hollywood Boulevard at AFI Fest; working with sales agents representing premieres in the Sundance Film Festival Industry Office; leading the Company Management department for New York Stage & Film’s season of new theatrical work at Vassar College; and various jobs at Film Independent on the Spirit Awards and Los Angeles Film Festival (where I started my career as a volunteer). I’ve also worked as a bartender, a camp counselor, on LGBTQ rights campaigns, and in a karaoke studio.
I donned my first headset as a producer while a student at Emerson College in Boston, where I got my BA in Theatre (concentrated in Acting & Theatre Education with a minor in Women’s & Gender Studies). While these days I like running the show better than being in it I still get on stage by singing with the Oakland Symphony Chorus (and occasionally at a piano bar). I live in Oakland, CA with my two black cats, Louise Brooks and Greta Garbo.
Meet the team
