Alonzo King LINES Ballet Virtual Gala
LINES Ballet brought me and my team on board to help them reimagine and execute their April 2021 gala, normally an in-person ballet performance and dinner, benefiting LINES Ballet’s mission of nurturing creative expression through collaboration, performance, and education. We had a great time jumping in with the LINES staff and board to craft an high level virtual experience for over 800 guests worldwide, which included world premiere dance films featuring company dancers from filmmaker Drea Cooper, special guest appearances from the likes of Debbie Allen and Misty Copeland, and a live auction and fund-a-need. And we raised a record breaking $700k for LINES’ programs!
I (Zoe Reiniger) served as Producer & Director, Zoe Westbrook served as Project & Production Manager, Julie Stallone as Technical Director, and Shannon Kaplan as Production Coordinator.

We partnered with AddVirtual for a live in-studio broadcast with our auctioneer, Ben Gonzales of A Plus Benefit Auctions.
Make it stand out
We had a fast & furious (and successful!) auction & fund-a-need with all guests bidding fully virtually through the OneCause platform (you can see Zoe Westbrook above running the backend of this new technology like a pro).
Make it stand out
We worked with High Horse SF to create a “Celebration Box” delivered to VIP guests throughout the US, enhancing their gala-from-home experience with a specially designed cocktail and gourmet treats from SF purveyors.
We loved working with the LINES team, and are thrilled that they not only have resumed in-person performances, but just received a $5 million dollar donation from Mackenzie Scott! We look forward to collaborating with them in the future.
